Two weeks back or so, I had a really good day. I wanted to give a shoutout for good days!

Let's see--that day I won an iPod in a raffle, a client sent me a 1 year late check, I got a job interview and a phone call from another very, very cool company (or they were until really recently) telling me that they were interested in my resume and could I call them back. There were some other things that made that day particularly special. It was an unseasonably warm sunny day. I discovered that the edible wild mushrooms I had thrown in the backyard two years ago have finally fruited, harvested them, prepared them, and ate them. A normally reticent family memeber finally overcame an aversion to trying wild mushrooms and sampled it. Not bad, not bad.
